AT&T Puts Crush Or Flush On Portal

Mobile social network Crush or Flush has launched on AT&T (NYSE: T), getting on to the Entertainment section of MEdia Net. The service is available on the mobile web, but gets an obvious boost by going on the portal—Crush or Flush is already on Alltel (NYSE: AT), Cricket, Virgin and boost. The AT&T service is free, whereas other carriers charge, such as Boost on $0.69 per day. Icebreaker—which runs the service—has released some stats from the 300,000 users the company has picked up since it launched in January:
-- 98 percent of Crush or Flush members access the site on their phone instead of online, which isn’t really surprising since the online experience has a little picture of the phone so it’s basically the same thing.
-- Members typically use the service an average of 1.5 hours per week, logging in several times per week.
-- 59 percent of the users are male, with a corresponding 41 percent being female.
-- There are 11,878 unique member generated tags, with each member allowed to have up to eight.
-- The most popular time to use the site is 5-12 in the evenings, and all day Thursday. I guess that’s when people are thinking about the odds of hooking up for the weekend.
-- Members with the highest crush percentage in order: Virginia, Texas, New York, Nevada, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Florida, and California.
