uiActive, an Australian mobile widgets and content apps firm, has received $3.33 million in its first round funding, according to a regulatory filing, picked up by PEHub. Investors include Southern Cross Ventures and CM Capital, both local VC firms. uiActive was formed last year as a result of a merger between two mobile apps companies: Bullant software and ECONZ Wireless.
The company’s technology is a mobile widget application, which can be updated dynamically with media and marketing content.
