Dutch Mobile Content Tech Firm MoMac Acquires Messagio

By Dianne See Morrison - Wed 26 Mar 2008 05:05 AM PST

MoMac, a Dutch provider of mobile content technology, has acquired French mobile content publishing technology company Messagio for an undisclosed amount. Momac is using the purchase to extend its reach in Europe, and to strengthen its technology. Five year old Messagio’s main technology asset is its mobispirit platform, which it says allows users to create mobile web sites and messaging services quickly and easily. MoMac, too has a mobile publishing platform, called GoMedia. Its clients include Emap (LSE: EMA), IPC Media, ITV (LSE: ITV), Sanoma, MTV, as well as operators O2 UK, Orange and T-Mobile (PDF release).
