Mobile Content Bits: Footy MVNO; Frengo; IM Ads; Skype; Helio Player; College Bowls

-- Football MVNO for TMN: Portuguese mobile operator TMN and the Porto Football Club are launching a new prepaid MVNO, reports Telecom Paper. Aside from the usual voice calls and SMS, the new Dragao Mobile service offers exclusive club content to customers, according to Telecom Paper. Customers will also get 5 percent of the value of each top-up returned to their bank account for use on FC Porto products and services.

-- Flirtable Goes Mobile: Social mobile services provider Frengo, has launched a mobile version of its dating service. Flirtable is already a Facebook app with 2 million users, according to the company. Flirtable Mobile will allow people to review profile pictures, have private one-on-one conversations, send gifts, initiate new conversations, and receive alerts to be notified of critical social events on their cell phones Release.

-- Bouygues Puts Advertisements On IM: French mobile carrier Bouygues Telecom has launched a pilot to have advertising on its instant messaging service, including the display on MIM idle-screen, on pop-ups and dynamic tabs, and on virtual contacts. There’s no mention if this will make the service cheaper or free, which is what really needs to happen for it to be worthwhile. Miyowa’s MoveAd Mobile IM handles the advertising. (Release)

-- 3 Skypephone Rolls Out in Sweden, Denmark and Austria: Mobile operator 3 is rolling out its Skypephone handset in Sweden, Denmark and Austria this week, says Cellular News. The phone is already available in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Hong Kong and Italy. The Three Skypephone is a 3G Internet phone with free internet calling built in.

-- Helio Offers PC Media Management Software: MVNO Helio has launched Helio Player, a piece of Windows software developed with RealNetworks (NSDQ: RNWK) that lets users manage music, pictures and video on their PC, and transfer them to and from their Helio phone. The software also features an integrated version of Helio’s music download store. (Release)

-- College Bowl Games On V Cast: Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless will show 24 of this season’s college football bowl games on its V Cast Mobile TV service, on CBS, (NYSE: CBS) ESPN and Fox mobile channels. Noticeably absent from the schedule, though, are any of the major BCS bowls. (Release)

-- MyWaves Social Features: MyWaves has added some social features to its mobile video service, reportedly at the behest of customers. Features include the ability for people to create channels for posting and promoting their favorite clips and gaining status on how many views their recommendations drive, and geo-targeting to make content and ads more relevant—about 55 percent of MyWaves’s audience comes from outside the U.S., with India, the U.K., and South Africa among countries where it has the most viewers reports MediaPost.

-- MetroPCS Subs to Get Coupons From Cellfire: MetroPCS has added mobile-coupons provider Cellfire to its content deck, says RCR). Cellfire is also on the decks of Boost Mobile and Cellular South.

-- Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) Users Get Social Media Uploads: Vodafone UK users with certain Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and Sony (NYSE: SNE) Ericsson (NSDQ: ERIC) handsets can now upload pictures and video to sites like Facebook, YouTube, MySpace and Bebo through the operator’s My Communities application, says Pocket-lint.
