-- Verizon adds three Gameloft Games: Verizon (NYSE: VZ) said it was adding three games from Gameloft (EPA: GFT) today, including NFL 2009, which provides info about athletes for the AFC and NFC conferences; Asphalt 4, which is an urban car racing game; and “The Oregon Trail,” which is based on the PC game that has players journey west to reach Oregon.
-- RingRing Media launches “I’AM”: Mobile agency RingRing Media today launched ‘I’AM’, a mobile advertising platform which connects publishers to a large pool of advertisers. I’AM integrates with networks, including Admob, Millenial Media, Adshandy, Mkhoj and BuzzCity. Publishers using the network includes: Moblr, Taptu, Wapedia and Mobikade.
-- Brides.com streams video from mobile: Editors at Brides.com, a Condé Nast Web site, said they will use Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N75 mobile phones loaded with Flixwagon to stream live video of the latest dresses from fashion shows directly to brides. The runway feature will go live on the Wedded Bits blog starting Oct. 17.
-- Donate to Komen on mobile: In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure is allowing people to donate by sending a text message. People who text “Komen” to 90999 will automatically donate $5 with standard texting rates applying. The donation will show up on your monthly cell phone bill.
-- Telefónica pens global agreement with Facebook: Telefonica (NYSE: TEF) said it will turn its relationship with Facebook, which has been limited to the UK, into a worldwide roll out, according to Cellular-news.com. The first stage includes Ireland, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia, and the second encompasses Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Central American countries, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The integration will include a link will allow customers to upload photos and videos to Facebook via MMS.
