MoFuse Gets First Round For Mobile Versions Of Blogs
By Joseph Weisenthal - Thu 21 Aug 2008 07:38 AM PST
MoFuse, a service that lets bloggers deploy mobile versions, has raised an unspecified seed round from The Slater Technology Fund, a VC fund backed by the State of Rhode Island. The Providence-based company claims to have 12,000 blogs currently using its service. That’s up from 2,200 at the end of 2007. Sites that use the MoFuse platform include ReadWriteWeb and PoliticalWire. The company says its growth necessitates new hires—hence the funding. Release.
