Nokia To Put Baidu On Handsets And Widsets Service: Report

imageNokia (NYSE: NOK) has struck a deal with China’s most popular search engine Baidu (NSDQ: BIDU) which will provide the Finish handset maker with a mobile search platform on its Widsets service. The plaform will also come pre-loaded on some of Nokia’s handsets, reports Thomson Financial News, picking up a report in Shanghai Securities News, which cited “sources close to the matter.” No financial details were revealed. Nokia’s Widsets service has over 4 million subscribers in China.
