DRM Watch has noted that PacketVideo has acquired Swiss mobile DRM company SDC, but neither company has made a big announcement about the deal. DRM Watch suggests this is because PacketVideo is getting on well with Microsoft and its PlayReady content and DRM platform, and may not wish to upset MS by declaring proudly it has bought its own mobile DRM solution.
