RIM Puts Microsoft’s Hotmail, Messenger On BlackBerries

BlackBerry users will finally get to use Hotmail as well as Windows Live Messenger on their handsets, out of the box, by the summer, after RIM (NSDQ: RIMM) and Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) partnered to offer “deep integration” of Windows Live services. Until now, BlackBerry users have been employing hacks to get push access to their Hotmail. But they’ll now get the proper experience plus an official IM client, both promising “rich features like replying to e-mail or IMs with voice clips”.
