Samsung Strikes Deal With Warner Music: Madonna’s “Hard Candy” To Be Preloaded On F400

By Dianne See Morrison - Mon 07 Apr 2008 02:39 AM PST

Samsung’s foray into mobile content continues: the handset maker has struck a deal with Warner Music that will see Madonna’s upcoming album “Hard Candy” and the video for her single “4 Minutes” preloaded on the handset makers music mobile F400, reports Billboard. Samsung said the phone, which comes with Bang & Olufsen speakers, will launch in “early June” in France (it’s already available in the US). They are also partnering with French radio network NRJ on Madonna’s May 6 concert in Paris. In mid-March, Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) and Warner Music International announced that the network operator’s customers in certain regions in the world would get early access to “Hard Candy,” with one song made available each day in the week before its general release.
