Sony BMG Music Entertainment has sealed a deal with Global Music International a content aggregator active in the Chinese market, to deliver the music label’s stockpile of Chinese and western music video and audio content – including ringtones and ring back tones - to the Chinese mobile marketplace. The move comes on the heels of Global Music International’s recent announcement that it will launch with China Unicom Newspace, the wholly owned subsidiary responsible for the operator’s full-range of mobile music services. Under the agreement China Unicom will deliver Global Music International’s growing inventory of music videos and audio content to its users. Press release
