Swedish Mobile Gaming Company GlobalFun To Go Public in Q1 Next Year

GlobalFun, the Sweden-based mobile gaming publisher, will file for an IPO in first quarter next year on the local market, the company said today. The company currently has operations in Sweden, USA, Argentina, Italy and Spain, and wants the money to make more acquisitions, among other uses.

GlobalFun retails games such as “Scooby-Doo: Saving Shaggy” and “Cow & Chicken” through clients such as Sony (NYSE: SNE) Ericsson, (NSDQ: ERIC) AT&T, (NYSE: T) Ericsson, T-Mobile, Boost, Sprint/Nextel, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless and others.
