T-Mobile UK Sidekick Users Get Content Catalogue

By James Quintana Pearce - Fri 11 Apr 2008 02:58 PM PST

T-Mobile UK have added an on-device catalogue to its Sidekick handsets, giving those customers a “short description of the applications and the chance to ‘preview’ them before downloading” reports Mobile Entertainment. The content will include games, ringtones from major record labels, themes, backgrounds and “personal productivity and Web 2.0 applications” optimized for the device so applications can interact with other applications on the handset such as e-mail, IM and the browser. The catalogue is supplied by Sidekick maker Danger, adding it to the handset manufacturers moving into content.

Actually Danger has long been managing and providing content for the Sidekick themselves. If you visit http://developer.danger.com/ you will see plenty of information about rules, requirements, and help for content submission.
