TV Shows Only Have 5 Minutes Of Good Content Anyway—Sony

By James Quintana Pearce - Mon 30 Apr 2007 11:53 AM PST

Sony is cutting down its old TV shows like Charlie’s Angels and Starsky and Hutch to five minutes because, well, that’s all the good content. PaidContent is covering the story in the NYT because there’s no mention of mobile, but they’d be stupid if the shortened shows didn’t get on mobile somehow… “As Steve Mosko, the president of Sony Television, described it, “So in Charlie’s Angels, they have a meeting, Charlie’s on the intercom telling them what the assignment is, there’s a couple of fights, and then a chase, and they catch the bad guy. Then they’re back home wrapping it up.” Pure gold.
