Madonna is certainly working mobile with her upcoming album “Hard Candy.” So far, she has a deal with Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) to deliver tracks to its subscribers a week before its hard copy release, and a deal with Samsung to preload the album on certain handsets in France. Now, in the US, her record label, Warner Bros. Records has struck a partnership with Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ), which today releases a mobile-only mix of her forthcoming single “4 Minutes.” The song—produced by Verizon “producer in residence” Timbaland--can be accessed through Verizon’s V Cast Music service, and is also available as a ringtone and ringback. Exclusive video footage of Madonna, Timbaland and Justin Timberlake working on the mobile-only version is also available on V Cast Video. (release).
