Vivendi Games Mobile Tries Free

By James Quintana Pearce - Wed 31 Oct 2007 06:07 AM PST

Vivendi (EPA: VIV) Games is trying an ad-supported model, putting ten titles on Greystripe’s portal GameJump. The titles include After Dark Flying Toaster, Amy’s Hangman and a few Garfield. It seems to be Vivendi trying different distribution models...It’s pretty much the biggest publisher on the GameJump portal (Hands On is also there, but the company has problems).

“Hands On is also there, but the company has problems”

This MocoNews smear campaign against Hands On is really getting annoying.

Over the past few years, many mobile games publishers have had executive turmoil and turnover, particularly amongst the San Mateo publishers. Why is MocoNews giving such special attention to Hands On? These snide comments in unrelated articles makes me think the problem is with MocoNews, not with Hands On.
