Voda’s Buyout Of Hutch A Dealbreaker For DoCoMo

“Due to the changes in business environment, both companies concluded that it would be difficult to launch i-mode service at this time and agreed not to proceed”, says NTT DoCoMo, Japan’s largest mobile phone company, in a statement. [via ET]
So, Voda’s acquisition of Hutch has been a deal-breaker for DoCoMo. Question is - is DoCoMo looking for another partner, or have they decided to focus on other markets for now? Vodafone’s buyout of Hutch had recently received an approval from India’s Foreign Investment Promotion Board.
Update: EasyBourse writes that Vodafone is looking for another partners in India…
