Adobe Acquires Mobile Graphics Software From Actimagine

Adobe has acquired mobile graphics software developed by French firm Actimagine, a move designed to improve the availability of mobile Flash...so far, Flash is only available on higher-end phones, but Adobe said the additional technology would help the company produce versions for mass-marketed mobile devices. Actimagine will also incorporate Adobe Flash Lite into its current and future offerings....Actimagine develops, patents, and licenses software solutions in the field of video and interactive vector graphics.
Terms over the deal were not disclosed, but some more details in the release here.
