Artificial Life has updated its award-winning game V-Girl, to be released in the third quarter of this year. Virtual Girlfriend 3.0 has been updated in a number of ways—the 3D animations are will be based on motion capture data which will look more realistic. The V-Girl characters have been remodelled and are now “a bit more sexy than the original ones”, which seems to mean they have bigger breasts. Other improvements includethe addition of 20 new interactive mini games and having the girls send personal picture and video messages to the players. “The game now contains interactive real time events and 10 progressive virtual dates set at real times.” There are several V-Girl models to choose from, but no mention of whether the player can opt to go for more than one at once and what would happen if they found out about each other. The game will be available in english first, with other languages to follow. Vivian, the original V-Girl, could translate six different languages. I wonder if these are as good? (via Picturephoning)
