Google To Be Embedded On Samsung Phones

By James Quintana Pearce - Mon 08 Jan 2007 07:30 PM PST

Google and Samsung have signed a deal to put Google onto the Sth Korean manufacturers handsets, reports AFP. There will be a Google icon in the applications menu, and the services will include search, maps and Gmail (I’m unsure whether the one icon leads to all three, or there are separate access points). The handsets with Google included are said to start arriving “early this year”, although there is already one out. (Press release)
