Openwave Browser Ships In 1 Billion Handsets Worldwide

The Openwave browser—a white box service that lets other companies brand it as their own—has shipped in “some 1 billion handsets worldwide”.
“Openwave messaging client technology has been adopted by some 20 manufacturers, and shipped in some 100 phone models.”
